This is going to be another long and rambling discourse for which I apologize in advance, but hey, I’m spilling out my guts here. If I hadn’t been so young, I probably would have understood what was about to happen a lot more. My parents knew I was a handful from the get-go. At two, I discovered how much fun it was to dump my parents’ ashtrays on the floor (both were heavy smokers). My father had to build small shelves all over the house for their ashtrays, forcing them to smoke while standing, at least when I was up and about. Read more
